We try to understand your emotions, and present you this: a gig has been announced (very officially)! Yes, Sweet Moses will rock Järvenpää's Swengi with the ever-so-clever Pohjaton gang on friday 19th of the moon of september. And oh yes indeed, Sameli will be back banging the drums just like he used to. Except if we play songs that you haven't had the pleasure to hear previously. Anyway, I want YOU to see and hear us there. Please. Come on.

We are going to relax, write new material and hopefully rehearse the new material too during the summer, so that we can rock you even harder come fall. WAITING IS OVER, BROTHERS AND SISTERS!
Indeed, if the new Sweet Moses -record is what you've been waiting for. Otherwise sorry for getting your hopes up. "Sounds of Infinite Madness" contains 7 tracks totalling slightly over 35 minutes. I can promise you, it contains more of everything in terms of hard rocking, psychedelic oscillations and groovy vibes compared to everything we've done before. 8.11.2007 Hello boys and girls and everyone else out there. The recording of our next release is done, only some mixing, knob-fiddling and mastering is yet to be done. The result is either going to be a confusingly long EP or an irritatingly short LP. You decide. All I know is that it's going to sound pretty dang good. But again that's just me.
The pics-section has been updated with a load of pics from the recording sessions for you to feast your eyes on, dear visitors.

30.4.2007 Thanks to everybody at Saunayö last night! It was snowing and cold, but we had one hell of a time. But, some bad news for a change. As you did or did not notice, we had to cancel our Vappu celebration gig at Kaivopuisto today, as well as another Vappu gig in Salo due to personal reasons. We are truly sorry for these cancellations.
Sweet Moses will now have a little break from gigging, and start to (hopefully) come up with more neckbreaking riffs, sexy grooves and mind-blowing sounds to record. Anyway, hope to see you at Lappeenranta Festivals in July!

3.12.2006 BIG ASS NEWS!
It took a bit longer than expected, thanks to certain circumstances and third party screw-ups, but finally the new "Are We This Evil" -ep is released and ready to satisfy your rock'n'roll needs. For recording we used the same toilet factory and pretty much the same everything as last time. The basic tracks were recorded live, so it still has that natural groove (or speeding, uneven tempo and little mistakes, whatever you like to call it) as on the last ep. Only now the record has been actually pressed in a big evil company, and not on my home computer. So, more quality for you for the same money! I like the way the ep sounds at least. More complex, maybe. Anyways, check the 'mp3'-section for details and two free songs to download.
Oh and I promise to put up some new photos from Yano later on today.

As some of you may already know, we will be managing a monthly rock'n'roll club named KELMIEN KERHO in Lappeenranta. The first one will be held at Husaari on november 18th. Performing will be us and Moses Hazy. Hope to see you there!
The recording of our next release is almost ready. We'll do some vocals and mixing in october, and we should be able to hear the result by the beginning november. I think.
30.8.2006 Good news everyone!
Firstly, more gigs announced.
Secondly, in the coming weeks we are going to record our second independent music EP of the year! Woohoo! It's gonna be a f***ing sonic boom of psychedelia, fuzz, groove and overall good vibes! At least that's how I'm feeling right now. I presume it'll be ready for grabs sometime during the moon of october.

8.7.2006 Well, nothing really happening right now. Our drummer is working his ass off out of town so we're not really doing anything. We should confirm a couple of shows towards the end of the summer though. God damn, there's a hardcorepunk festival right now just next to my apartment house. Sounds more like metal to me anyways. Never really liked that.

20.2.2006 We recorded a five song ep last weekend at a toilet factory in Järvenpää. I think we'll have it for sale in a couple of weeks. As promised, it does truly rock. Can't wait? We neither! I'll put up some photos from the session as well when i recover my camera from our training cave.
